Design management
The design and realization of the new CityHub Hotel in Copenhagen is a result of collaboration of design professionals, architects, and hospitality gurus. Overseeing the interior design implementation process along with the redesigning of the sleeping pod during the pandemic was a challenge. Nevertheless, we successfully managed to facilitate project development, from controlling designers and contractors to local project management and budget tracking.

Hub
The revamped hub design takes inspiration from Nordic design principles and adheres to Danish hospitality regulations. In total, we delivered 210 Hubs, managing the entire process from manufacturing through installation to pre-opening.
Thinking forward
In addition to our site-specific responsibilities, we designed new elements that will set the standard for CityHub’s future hotel design. These include the updated check-in kiosk, a wayfinding strategy, and the bar & kitchen concept. We documented these innovations in the Design & Build manual, overseeing and recording the entire interior design process and execution, incorporating future-proof solutions.
