Honouring democracy

This exhibition marks the 200-year cooperation between the 1st and 2nd chamber of the Netherlands. Artifact replicas, prominently displayed on pedestals, serve as focal points, weaving together the exhibition's themes and narratives. Spanning both indoor and outdoor spaces, the displays are interconnected through pathways and historical timelines, creating a cohesive and unfolding experience.

Designed to engage

This exhibition combines analogue and digital approaches to tell the heritage story in an engaging manner. Visitors navigate spaces using a digital map and QR codes. They're encouraged to interact with tangible artifacts, such as wooden replicas of artifacts, and engage with touchscreens to explore the narrative further.

Site-specific design

The outdoor exhibition display is designed in a form of sculptural ensemble that compliments surrounding architecture. When the sun sets, the display lights up, ensuring visitors can see part of the exhibition at any time of day.
