Pioneering the coworking space design
Design process for Turbine started by developing a brand concept and conceptualizing the layout for one of the first coworking spaces in Leiden. Pioneering coworking space design, we crafted innovative solutions to suit the emerging hybrid worker. We transformed the industrial building into a sleek, minimalist environment, ideal for both individual focus and collaborative work. Project in close collaboration with Renée Schuffelers.

Bespoke Workstation Platform
Designed specifically for Turbine, the workstation platform is an all-in-one solution for remote workers. It includes a spacious desk, comfortable chair, storage units, sufficient outlets, and good lighting. The platform is mobile thanks to integrated wheels, allowing for flexibility within the space. Every detail prioritizes ergonomic considerations for maximum comfort and well-being.
Wayfinding
More than just an aesthetic choice, the colourful lines that weave through the clean white space serve a dual purpose. They inject a burst of energy while also acting as a wayfinding system. By following color-coded paths, users can easily navigate the space. For example, the blue path brings to social areas and meeting rooms, all designed to encourage connections between residents.
